This residence permit is granted for 3 years.
You have the right to move to Spain with your spouse, children under 18, and in some cases, elderly parents.
The duration of stay under this type of residence permit will be considered in the future if you wish to obtain permanent residency after living in Spain for five years, and subsequently citizenship.
This type of residence permit can be renewed upon its expiration.
You and your family members will have the right to work in Spain (for primary applicants, no more than 20% of the total income).
Under the new rules, there is no limit on the length of absence from the country (previously, absence from Spain for more than six months would result in the cancellation of the residence permit).
